'ATLETI SI DIVENTA' è il titolo del convegno 2015 al Campaccio

Campaccio, non solo grandi competizioni, ma anche grande attenzione alle problematiche delle corse campestri e dell'atletica in generale. 

Come ormai da tradizione quest'anno nel giorno di vigilia, lunedì 5 Gennaio 2015 alle ore 14.30 vi sarà un convegno organizzato dall'Associazione Officina Atletica in collaborazione con la U.S. Sangiorgese ed il Centro Studi Fidal dal titolo: ATLETI SI DIVENTA : L'evoluzione da giovane promessa del mezzofondo ad atleta di livello nazione-internazionale'. 

A moderare la tavola rotonda lo speaker ufficiale del Campaccio Gianni Mauri, mentre tra i relatori due ospiti d'eccezione quali il direttore tecnico della Nazionale Fidal Massimo Magnani e il direttore tecnico della nazionale giovanili Stefano Baldini, nonchè oro olimpico di maratona ad Atene 2004.

At the start line also two golden medalists in the Junior World Championship: “we believe in the young champions”.

This morning at the Regione Lombardia Building in Milan, was held the press conference for the 58^th Campaccio Cross County, taking place the next 6th January 2015, organized by Us Sangiorgese.

The Assessore allo Sport from Regione Lombardia Antonio Rossi took the chance of speaking about the latest news about a very important issue: “I competed in the Olympics but I don’t agree completely with Rome’s candidacy to host the Olympic Games, I’m worried about the costs. Maybe the priority is grassroots sport, the venues, bringing the sport into schools. Sport clubs need funds to organize great events as the Campaccio”. Claudio Pastori, President of Us Sangiorgese said: “I’m glad of what Assessore Rossi said, our young athletes are the most important thing we have.  We have few resoruces but this Campaccio edition will be new, different and more interesting than ever.”.

(San Giorgio su Legnano) – Presentato questa mattina a Milano presso la sede della Regione Lombardia il 58° Campaccio Cross County che si svolgerà come da tradizione il prossimo 6 Gennaio 2015,  organizzato dalla Us Sangiorgese con il coordinamento speciale di Sergio Meraviglia e tappa del Permits Meeting Iaaf per la stagione 2014-2015. San Giorgio su Legnano ancora una volta sarà per un giorno la capitale mondiale del cross.

Presenti l’Assessore allo Sport della Regione Lombardia Antonio Rossi che ha allargato il suo intervento a importanti temi di attualità: “Ho partecipato alle Olimpiadi ma non sono così favorevole alla candidatura di Roma2024, sono preoccupato per le risorse economiche in ballo. Forse meglio pensare prima allo sport di base, ai campi sportivi dei paesi, allo sport nelle scuole, serve ossigeno e risorse per le società sportive che così possono organizzare cose importanti come ad esempio il Campaccio”. Dello stesso parere Claudio Pastori, Presidente dell’Us Sangiorgese: “Sono contento di ciò che ha detto l’Assessore Rossi, l’attività di base e i nostri ragazzi sono la cosa più importante che abbiamo. Da preservare e da aiutare a crescere attraverso lo sport. Abbiamo poche risorse, qualche sponsor, ma dalle Istituzioni poco o nulla, ma ci rimbocchiamo le maniche e andiamo avanti. Questo sarà un Campaccio tutto nuovo, diverso e con tanto fascino in più”.

CAMPACCIO CROSS COUNTRY: THE REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN

6 January 2015, the date is still the same because we want to respect the tradition. And so it will be legend, for the 58th time, again the Campaccio Cross Country, one of the most ancient and famous cross country in the world.

For the forth year in a row the International Federation inserted Campaccio in the Permits Meeting Iaaf for the season 2014-2015. San Giorgio su Legnano will be for one day once more the world capital of cross.

Campaccio is organized by dall’Unione Sportiva Sangiorgese headed by Claudio Pastori, with the help of Sergio Meraviglia as Event General Coordinator with more than 10 year experience and with Marcello Magnani as sport director.

It will be an international level competition as usual and a chance to show up for the young athletes competing: Campaccio is one of the most important date in the cross country worldwide calendar, where the best specilists ask to compete, knowing they will find the highest level –  Marcello Magnani said - The World Federation five years ago gave us the "IAAF Permit" certificate, as one of the selected group of events worlwide that represents the best in cross country, for the quality in technical value and organization.. According to the numbers, today Campaccio counts several medalist in cross, track and running and it’s definitely  the first Cross Country in Italy and one of the 3 most important International Cross Country. The pride, not only mine but of the whole Us Sangiorgese, is in being able to grow in a really difficult moment, in wich it’s even more complicated finding new resources and several competition were cancelled or downsized.”.

This year Campaccio focus will be on the young Italian athletes, behind the most talented world level youth. Soon we will annouce some of the names, as we are still negotiating with several of them, it’s too soon to disclose them now.

The most important news today is that finally the registrations are open (click here) and we invite all the teams to parecipate, with all the categories, junior, Seniores, man and women, to live once again the magic of Campaccio.

INVITO CONFERENZA STAMPA – Come da invito in allegato informiamo che la presentazione ufficiale del Campaccio è prevista per Martedì 16 Dicembre 2014 a Milano. Vi attendiamo!

(San Giorgio su Legnano) – 6 Gennaio 2015, la data non cambia perché le tradizioni vanno sempre rispettate. E così per la 58^a volta sarà ancora leggenda, sarà ancora Campaccio Cross Country, una tra le campestri più longeve e famose del mondo.

Per il quarto anno consecutivo il Campaccio è stato inserito dalla Federazione internazionale nel circuito Permits Meeting Iaaf per la stagione 2014-2015. San Giorgio su Legnano ancora una volta sarà per un giorno la capitale mondiale del cross.

Campaccio organizzato come consuetudine dall’Unione Sportiva Sangiorgese presieduta da Claudio Pastori, con l’ausilio di Sergio Meraviglia in qualità di Coordinatore Generale dell’evento dall’esperienza ultradecennale e da Marcello Magnani per la direzione tecnica.
